And he really did kick some ass.
Business press haven't learnt their lessons on Steve Jobs from his past history.
A month back, when he took his third leave of absence, business press was all over him bidding good bye to him forever. We also had some doctors who could diagnose patients just by looking at a picture and predict the death. And again business press did eat that...
aving seen him rise like a phoenix out of ashes, more than once!
I would say, he rose out of ashes once again yesterday to launch the sequel of his third post-PC blockbuster product, iPad 2.
With the display of his magical formulaic Steve Notes[like starting with the updates, taking a dig at the competitors by calling them copy cats and misquoting Samsung, well at least i think it was delibrate] he shut all the mouths [or should i say open mouthed] and showed them he isn't dead, at least for now!

He is indeed a phoenix; The Bloomberg obit was a mistake from a sleepy journo. Looks like all major news orgs keep obits of key people ready for quick release when the person dies. Anyway, look forward to the Apple fanboy's ஆதாம் கடித்த மிச்சம் series. :-D
Yes, pleasant surprise when he came in himself to launch iPad 2. The speculation on his health in the press is just crazy gossip mongering. Just no respect for privacy ; if he wants to keep his health a secret, what business is it of anybody to pry ....
@Ram Ahem, it was a mistake. Still Mistake is a mistake. நாங்க எல்லாம் Strict obbicers.Cant be a fanboy :( Need to be fair though i am entitle to opinions :)
@Ramesh It was a surprise though there were faint unrealistic hopes for him to turn up. The last line is a sticky wicket though!
