Ignore Your Boss
You are done with your career/performance/appraisal discussion with your boss.
The boss had 5 positive points and 3 negative points about you.
What are you going to do?
You are going to accept it and start working on the negative points to over come them.
Thats a shame! The boss will always find negative points about you. That's why he or she is called as a boss.Once when you turn your negatives in to positives, by the end of next discussion, they will be ready with a list of few other negative points.
So never mind them. I am sure even Jack Welch receieved Negative points from his boss. And I am very sure that even his boss was never happy with his performance.
Here's the surprising thought.Ignore even the positive feedback given to you. They postive feedback need not be your true strength at all. He/She may never know your true potential.
So what should you be doing?
Listen to your heart.
No one knows better than you than yourself.
Do what you like! Be what you are!
There is no better boss to you than you (oh sometimes may be your girl/boy friend :) )
